Abstract

Abstract It is shown, by assuming the dominance of nearby singularities in subtracted dispersion relations, that the calculation of A 1 ρ π couplings goes beyond the informations extracted from current-commutator algebras or divergence equations. The results are compared with present data on the ρ o → μ + μ −, A 1 → ρ π and ρ → ππ decays, the pion charge radius and the axial vector structure radiation of charged pions.
