Abstract

Abstract Based on Jacobian elliptic function expansion method and the modified extended tanh-function method, a new algebraic method is presented to obtain multiple travelling wave solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations. By giving some new ansatzs of solutions and making use of the transformations among different Jacobian elliptic functions, more new exact periodic solutions are found.
