Abstract

Abstract Strategic Planning for Information Systems is a complicated task, which does not always have the desired effect. The implementation of an information systems plan is often unsuccessful because of the failure to involve the organization that has to work with the plan and to build the necessary support. This article discusses a number of factors which explains how managers can build support for an information strategy and thereby secure its effective implementation.
