Abstract

Abstract The skin disinfectant properties of two handwashing agents containing chlorhexidine, ‘Uniscrub’ and ‘Hibiscrub’, have been compared. The two products were assessed according to their ability to remove both transient organisms and natural or resident bacteria from the skin. They were found to be equally effective as antibacterial hand disinfection agents.
