Abstract

A case of acute viral myocarditis with the rapid appearance and disappearance of clinical, laboratory, electrocardiographic, and vectorcardiographic signs of acute myocardial infarction is described in this report. Although segmentary alterations in contractility were demonstrated by ventriculography, coronary angiography revealed normal coronary arteries.
