DIGITAL PLATFORMS FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH AGGREGATING MULTIPLE SOURCES TO PRE-­‐POPULATE NEW REPOSITORIES

We present the process to prepopulate a new repository by discussing this in the context of MyScienceWork’s POLARIS platforms. We introduce the aggregation service that uses an internal database, uploads from users and several external services to centralize and structure metadata. We also introduce the process of assigning confidence rates to both metadata from different sources and to author-publication matching processes. In certain cases, manual validation is required when the confidence rate is low.
