Abstract
Tez (Yüksek Lisans) -- İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 2005 / Thesis (M.Sc.) -- İstanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, 2005 / Adaçayı (Salvia officinalis) içeriğindeki fenolik antioksidanlar nedeniyle ekonomik önemi olan bitkilerden biridir.Adaçayı ekstresinin temel aktif bileşikleri rosmarinik asit ve karnosik asittir. Her iki bileşiğin ham bitkideki miktarları genetik faktörlere ve çevre koşullarına bağlıdır. Bu nedenlerle adaçayının ham madde veya ticari ekstre olarak kalite kontrolu için basit ve güvenilir bir analitik yöntem geliştirilmesi önemlidir.Bu çalışmada, adaçayı içeriğindeki rosmarinik ve karnosik asidin aynı anda tayini için kapiler elektroforez ile hızlı ve basit bir yöntem geliştirdik.Analiz yöntemi ticari adaçaylarındaki karnosik ve rosmarinik asit tayini için uygulanmıştır. / Sage (Salvia officinalis) is one of the economically important plant because of its phenolic antioxidants.The activity of sage extract is mainly due to rosmarinic acid and carnosic acid. The level of both compounds in raw plant varies widely depending on genetic factors and environmental conditions. It is therefore important to develop a simple and reliable analytical method for the active components due to the quality control of sage leaves as raw material or commercial extracts.In the present study, we developed a simple and rapid method for the simultaneous determination of rosmarinic and carnosic acid by capillary electrophoresis. The analysis method was applied to the determination of rosmarinic and carnosic acid in the commercial sage teas. / Yüksek Lisans / M.Sc.
