Abstract

Abstract A diffusion of ions from the three-phase boundary into a hemispherical oily microdroplet deposited on an inert solid electrode and immersed in aqueous electrolyte is calculated by the finite difference method. The solution is compared to the concentration distribution in microcrystals of insoluble insertion compounds.
