Abstract

Abstract Ca1-xMgx(Ti1-xLix)O3-3xF3x perovskite-type with 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.15 were prepared from CaCO3, TiO2, and MgF2 as metallic salt precursors using the ceramic method. Their characterization was performed by BET, X-ray diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy. The acid-base and/or redox properties of catalysts were evaluated using the benzaldehyde hydrogenation as reaction test in gas phase at atmospheric pressure. Theses catalysts showed very different catalytic behaviours in terms of activity and selectivity of products.
