Abstract

Abstract The MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Group in Germany has unveiled a newly developed low-floor scheduled-service bus with hybrid fuel-cell drive. The electric engine is supplied with 68 kWe from a Ballard PEM fuel cell system, and more than 100 kW from an energy storage system, which reduces fuel consumption by regenerating the brake energy.
