The work is focused on the legal aspect of electronic commerce with emphasis on consumer rights. It analyzes the individual applicable legal standards aimed at consumer protection in electronic commerce, including their application in practice. It also analyse respecting of information obligations on the part of traders and the knowledge level of the internet law by the consumers in the Czech Republic. The main contribution of this thesis is an analysis of consumers rights knowledge and analysis of respecting of information obligations on the part of traders, which leads to a consistent picture of the research questions. An accompanying theme of this work is the current structure of shopping consumers and the structure of purchased goods.
