Abstract

Abstract Clinical signs and symptoms of temporomandibular joint arthropathy were evaluated by comparison of clinical findings with arthroscopic findings in 62 temporomandibular joints of 55 patients. The arthroscopic frequency of osteoarthritis was high and was often combined with a mild localized synovitis.
