Abstract

Heat stress events associated with global climate change may indirectly alter the interactions among marine species, for example among parasites and their fish hosts. At the same time, rapid frequency changes of immune genes, droven by parsite selection, may determine which indiviudals survive, providing an example of “evolution-in-action”.
