Abstract

Abstract The theorem of Stein–Rosenberg is generalized to the case of two M-splittings A= M 1− N 1= M 2− N 2, where the M i are M-matrices and N 1⩾ N 2⩾0, N 1≠ N 2, N 2≠0.
