Abstract

A computer analysis of planar channeling effects for 1.0 and 6.6 GeV protons and axial effects for 1.0 and 5.5 GeV π - -mesons in a thin curved Au crystal has been performed. Effective beam deflection is obtained for positively charged particles, while negative particles exhibit a wide angular distribution on leaving the curved crystal.
