Abstract

Abstract The CIS is a collection of computerised data storage and retrieval components for chemical information, covering such aspects as structure, names, spectra, toxicology, hazards, literature references and molecular modeling. Each component is essentially a 'standalone' system but they share utility software and therefore composite searches within different databases are easily performed.
