Abstract

Abstract Properly diluted, the flocculation antigen described by the author has been found to be equally serviceable in the Wassermann reaction. The results are as sensitive and specific as those obtained with the highly fortified Wassermann antigen described in a previous paper of this series. It is therefore suggested that the use of the latter be discontinued, and the same antigen be used in both the Wassermann and flocculation tests. A recommended Wassermann technic is outlined.
