Abstract

Abstract We calculate exact correlation functions of two-dimensional gravity coupled to matter in the three-matrix model realization. We find an interesting connection between the matter content and the local phase structure at multicritical points. For the Ising model the (A-type) KdV hierarchy describes the high temperature phase. For the critical Ising model we find three phases and check the fusion rules.
