Abstract
A 20-year-old girl with hypertension due to atypi c al coarctation of the thoracic aorta was treated by angioplastic procedure (Teflon patch graft) resulting in complete relief from hypertension. Th i s case suggests that a careful angiographic examination should be done "over the whole length of the aorta" for a diagonosis of hypertension in young patients, especially in young females.
