Abstract

Abstract The enthalpy of reaction of H 2SO 4·8H 2O with 2.5(NaOH·10H 2O) has been measured relative to the enthalpy of combustion of benzoic acid, using three different rotating-bomb combustion calorimeters. The results are combined, in the preceding paper, with solution-calorimetric data to deduce values for the enthalpy of standard test reactions for solution-reaction calorimetry.
