Abstract

Abstract We have measured complex susceptibility of the high-T c superconductor Hf xY 1-xBa 2Cu 3O 7-y (x = 0.00; 0.025; 0.075; 0.10; 0.20; 0.50) and HfBaCuO 4 sintered samples. The Meissner - effect or bulk state transition temperature (90K) did not change for x = 0.00 up to x= 0.10, is lowered to 80K for x = 0.20, had not been determined for x = 0.50 (the transition becomes meta-stable) and is absent for HfBaCuO 4. The transition temperatures for coupled or intergranular superconductive states were also determined.
