Abstract

Abstract The case of a 6-month-old child with a solitary, pedunculated hemangioendothelioma of the liver associated with cutaneous hemangioma is presented. Severe circulatory collapse which occurred during laparotomy, in the absence of blood loss, was abruptly relieved by clamping the tumor-liver connection. The child is well.
