Determine if the item is eligible At least one of the creators/ authors must be:  A current QUT staff member or QUT postgraduate student and the item must have a research component. Eligible item types include: Notes: When depositing research outputs required for ERA purposes (i.e. the 20% sample of HCA research outputs), a digital copy of the published version (scanned image or publisher-created PDF) can be uploaded. While the descriptive information will be publicly accessible, access to any file can be restricted to ERA reviewers. This includes the brief statement outlining the research component . The choice of level of access is yours. Step 1 Go to QUT ePrints ( On left screen see bottom left Click on the button Select the option that best describes the item you are depositing .If none are appropriate, select “Other”. Click Next to move to the next screen Step 2 This is where you enter the bibliographic details and contact details. Compulsory fields are marked with a large red asterisk *. You must fill in Role, and relevant Faculty, `School , Centre or Institute. At any time there is a button on the right side of form i.e. where more information is available. Continue to fill out each field with name of other authors/ creators and contributors. Add more input rows (boxes) if necessary If you do not know details of contributors, just fill in name, role if you know it. You do not need to fill in QUT ID. Fields that do not apply to your work, leave blank. Save for later at any time. The item will be in your deposit box. It remains there until you are ready to deposit into the review area. Until that time it is visible only to you. When you are ready proceed to next step. Step 3 If the work may be included in the HERDC collection, you must select at least one (maximum 3) subject
