The results of this study offer only partial support for the efficacy of modBATRAC. As in previous trials, modBATRAC facilitated increased use of the paretic arm, but unlike previous trials, it did not increase motor performance. These differences may reflect a more temporally condensed training schedule and less impaired patients.
