Abstract

Abstract For an MIS manager, people management is more important than the management of hardware and software. To manage people well, a manager must open up effective lines of communication, to MIS staff, to users and to senior management. Thus a manager will be in touch with progess of projects, users will be aware of available, and unavailable, services, and MIS staff will know how they are performing.
