This meeting of February 1994 was dedicated to detailed discussions of the scope of responsibilities of municipal commissioners for pollution abatement and of experiences gained so far from different points of view. Ideas and views were exchanged on the self-image of municipal commissioners for pollution abatement and on the deficiencies, obstacles and resulting future tasks and prospects as combined with different administrative functions. The acquisition of information for commissioners for pollution abatement was another point-of-main effort topic within the framework of the meeting. (orig.) / Ziel der Veranstaltung vom Februar 1994 war es, das Aufgabengebiet von kommunalen Umweltbeauftragten sowie bisher gemachte Erfahrungen aus unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen darzustellen. Im konstruktiven Erfahrungsaustausch diskutierten die Teilnehmer das Selbstverstaendnis der Umweltbeauftragten sowie Defizite, Hemmnisse und daraus abzuleitende Aufgaben und Perspektiven fuer die Zukunft im Zusammenspiel verschiedener Verwaltungsebenen. Einen Schwerpunkt der Tagung bildete der Bereich der Beschaffung von Informationen fuer Umweltbeauftragte.
