Abstract

Recent floods in Prague have required the implementation of control measures to protect the historic city from contamination from flooding and the threat of raw sewage escaping from surcharged stormwater sewers. The pumps used to control the flooding needed the combination of superior performance and low-life cost benefits and low fuel consumption.
