Abstract

Abstract A computer analysis of the fast ramp voltage clamp has been made for the peak- inward sodium current of the squid giant axon. Potential or time changes at which the peak sodium current occurs have been correlated with either potential shifts in the dependence of the HodgkinHuxley parameters or to an amplitude change of the time constants of these parameters.
