Abstract

Abstract Investigation of relaxation properties has been carried out for representatives of some classes of polymers over a wide range of temperature and deformation. A method based on the temperature-time superposition principle has been proposed as a means of evaluating nonlinearity of the mechanical behaviour of polymers. A method has been developed for forecasting the relaxation properties of polymers. The method on a combination of a series of relaxation experiments carried out under isothermic and non-isothermic conditions.
