Abstract

Abstract A method onvolving measurements of electrode potential and electrical resistivity is described for studying the overall isotopic equilibria established between the following: mixtures of H 2O and D 2O; molecular hydrogen species dissolved in the mixed solutions; the ratios of hydrogen isotopes absorbed by palladium electrodes immersed in the mixed solutions up to various combined isotope contents.
