Abstract

Abstract A simple analysis is made of the elastic magnetic scattering of neutrons from weakly ferromagnetic nickel-copper alloys. The model assumes that the moment at each nickel site is a function of its magnetic environment so that the collapse of ferromagnetism at the critical concentration is a cooperative phenomenon.
