Abstract

Abstract Compressive strength of concrete mixes are shown to be dependent on their stability and compactibility. Significant improvement in the compressive strength, of insufficiently compacted, unstable, and dry mixes are achieved by revibration. The optimum period between initial vibration and revibration as well as the time of revibration are determined.
