Abstract

•Radiobinding assays with [35S]-methionine-labeled antigens were validated.•A/H1N1 antibody levels were higher in narcolepsy patients than controls.•HLA-DQB1*06:02 was associated with higher A/H1N1 antibody levels.•Tribbles homolog 2 (TRIB2) autoantibody levels were not increased in narcolepsy patients.•A/H1N1 antibody and TRIB2 autoantibody levels correlated strongly in young narcolepsy patients.
