Zu den Aufgaben des Vereins gehoeren: Nationale und europaeische Regelsetzung und Normung, Pruefung und Zertifizierung von Produkten, Personen und Firmen, Forschung und Entwicklung an der DVGW-Forschungsstelle in Karlsruhe, Aus- und Fortbildung technischer Fach- und Fuehrungskraefte, Fachinformation und Beratung; Mitarbeit in der Internationalen Gas Union (IGU). In der vorliegenden Publikation wird ueber Aufgaben und Organisation des Vereins berichtet. Der Jahresabschluss 1993 legt zahlreiche finanzielle Daten offen. (UA) / The tasks of the German Gas and Water Supply Association include the following: Establishing rules and standards at the national and European level, testing and approval of products, persons and firms, research and development at the Karlsruhe research agency of DVGW, training and continuation training of technical personnel and executives, technical information and counselling, cooperation within the International Gas Union (IGU). This publication reports on the tasks and organization of the association. The annual statement of accounts 1993 lays open numerous financial data.
