Abstract

•Analytical models are proposed for Prandtl–Meyer wave overtaking oblique shock interaction in supersonic flow.•Criterion was derived qualifying different flow patterns arising in wave interaction.•The influence of gas specific heats ratio on the obtained solutions was analyzed.
