Abstract

Abstract Dale and Furzer have applied Zakian's I 9,10 approximant in a global fashion to the numerical analysis of transients in a periodically cycled plate column. This paper shows that significantly better analysis is obtained by using other techniques from Zakian's I MN and J MN approximants.
