Abstract

Abstract Besides advanced atomic data, the strong coupling effects are the key-stones for true radiative opacities and for the proper description of energy transport in dense matter. These opacities, which are sensitive to the ‘windows’ in absorption spectra, are discussed briefly in terms of strongly coupled plasmas (SCP) dielectric functions. A particular case of the available krypton plasma spectra is considered to clarify the beginning of the manifestation for correlation effects in plasma absorption at densities grow (we are using the well-known notifications for the plasma couling parameter Λ, level of degeneracy θ, etc., sf. [1]).
