Abstract

Abstract Various procedures are examined for the reduction of isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium data for systems comprised of a non-volatile electrolyte in a mixed solvent. The procedures are tested both on real experimental data and on simulated data. Based on the results for the systems examined here, a recommended procedure is given. The utility of the total pressure method for obtaining VLE data for systems of this type is discussed.
