Abstract

Abstract The emission rate of internal conversion electrons has been measured with a liquid scintillation spectrometer. The advantage of this method is to be able to deduce the emission rate of internal conversion electrons under 4 π geometry with the use of another sample which is to estimate the contribution of γ- and X-rays. The method has been applied to the cases of 109Cd, 113Sn and 139Ce and found to be practicable.
