Abstract

Abstract Tellurium targets of thickness up to 6.5 mg/cm 2 on carbon backings were prepared by vacuum deposition. The influence of the crucible dimension, treatment of the backing foil by glow discharge and substrate cooling on the Te sticking efficiency was studied in order to achieve the best yield.
