Abstract

This chapter describes two topics that need to be considered during any type of interview planning: sampling of participants and incentives. The various types of participant sampling are described with notes on how the sampling methods could affect the validity and reliability of the data. The use of both intrinsic and extrinsic incentives is discussed.
