Abstract

Abstract Reminiscences of radio (‘wireless’) activities and research in the period 1923–1926 give re-emphasis to the earlier studies of the ‘radio reflecting layer’ by de Forest and Fuller in 1913–1914. An anecdote describes early ‘harassment’ by reflections from airplanes (1929).
