Abstract

Among 60 patients with Sjögren's syndrome (SS) according to the European criteria, we report the results and correlates of minor salivary gland biopsies (MSGB). The results show that inflammatory foci in MSGB are present in only 36 % of cases. They are correlated with clinical and biological signs of immune activation.
