Abstract

Abstract A solid phase method for the synthesis of glutamic acid derivatives based on the chemoselective ring opening of N-Boc pyroglutamic-Wang by heteronucleophiles is described. It allows the preparation of a large number of amides and esters of glutamic acid in a simple procedure with moderate to good yields and excellent purity.
