Abstract

Abstract In[1], a technique is developed to study the stability of the mechanism having elastic links, where damping is not taken into consideration. Here we develop a technique to study the stability of the practical four bar mechanism, taking damping into consideration. The system behaviour is studied at various speeds in different regions. Also the comparison of damped and undamped displacement responses is presented.
