Abstract

Abstract Oxidation of H-phosphonate, H-phosphonothioate, or H-phosphonodithioate monoesters with iodine in pyridine in the presence of trimethylsilyl chloride, followed by addition of triethylamine trishydrofluoride (TAF) furnished rapid and quantitative formation of the corresponding phosphorofluoridate, phosphorofluoridothioate, or phosphorofluoridodithioate monoesters.
