Abstract

Abstract By supplying acetate, glucose or DCMU to Pseudevernia furfuraceathallus, it has been found that the accumulation of the depside atranorin is independent of the photosynthetic activity but is repressed by glucose. In this last condition, lecanoric acid is alternatively produced.
