Abstract

Abstract We examine the electron conductivity on p-type (100) InP at fields to 8 T and frequencies ħω ∼ 0, 10.5, 12.9, and 17.6 meV. Distinct quantum oscillations in the d.c.-conductivity are observed for surface electron density N s and H-field where the h.f.-conductivity shows cyclotron resonance severely perturbed by localization effects. A qualitative description of the N s , ħω and H dependences of the h.f.-magnetoconductance is given in terms of a characteristic localization energy ħω 0.
