Abstract

Abstract 1. The catabolism of catecholamines is performed in several tissues of the rainbow trout. 2. Monoamine oxidase activity is important in the kidney and brain. 3. O-Methylation occurs mainly in the liver and seems to be the major route for catecholamine degradation.
