Record level- The area covered by this report, which is partly in Flagstaff and entirely within Coconino County, is subject to flooding by the Rio de Flag and Sinclair Wash. The developed properties on the flood plain are both urban and suburban. The report has been prepared because a knowledge of the flood potential and flood hazards is important in land-use planning and for management decisions concerning flood plain utilization. It includes a history of flooding in the vicinity of Flagstaff and identifies those areas that are subject to possible future floods through maps, photographs, profiles and cross-sections.
